This program was written by Randy Hobart to address a consistent way to analyze print ready pdf's. We could then give prices based on coverage rather than print size. Consumable cost far out weight paper cost. So why should a price list or quote be based on the size of the paper alone?

Experiences

Printing
• Started full time in printing 1981 - Prep work for 40 inch Heidelberg 6 color press.
• Started Hobart's Printing Place in 1995.
• Change business name to Hobart Printing, LLC in 2014. • Printing experience - over 35 years, main area has been Graphic Arts.
• Letterpress - 5 years, including platemaking, die lines, negatives, and polymer plates.

Programming
• Programming began with the Atari, and then the Commodore.
• Platforms include DOS, Windows, and Mac.
• Ink Coverage was created using XCode and Objective-C.
• Web markup and scripting, including Wordpress plug-ins, and coding template pages.
• Dynamic languages: TCL, PHP and Python.
• Compiled languages: Java, C, C++, Objective-C.
